In mid-May of 2009, in New York, the taping of the film “Double Breath” had begun. The director and screenwriter is Rafal Januszczyk, producer of several dramas and documentaries. He is also the co-creator of “Filmowe Podlasie Atakuje” film festival, in existence since 2003, which is now also presented in New York City since 2008.

One of Rafal’s latest productions - ADM “Consequences of War” was co-created with Polish camera operator Jacek Kościuszko, who took part in this year’s 10th annual Polish Film Festival in Los Angeles.

One of Rafal’s other latest works includes a documentary called “Professor” adapted from the idea of Marysia Gacek, graduate of the New York School of Visual Arts. This documentary is an etude to Zbylut Grzywacz, a known Polish painter, and long-time professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. The film could be viewed from March until June 2009 at the first post-mortem art display of Grzywacz at the National Museum in Krakow and Miejska Galeria in Lodz at July and August 2009.
